Chiswick Flower Market takes sustainability seriously and we encourage everyone to use sustainable transport – walk, cycle and public transport – to visit the market. Parking is difficult around Chiswick High Road.
If you’d like us to hold on to your plants while you browse the market or explore Chiswick, please leave them, for free with us at the creche, at the entrance to the market. They need to be collected half an hour before the market closes. If you are having plants delivered to your home (see Plants delivery), drop them off an hour before close at the latest.
We have a team of volunteer cyclists with cargo bikes ready to take your flower market purchases home for you, within a 2 mile radius of the market. See the map at the creche to check your address. You don’t need to drive to the High Road, you can buy that heavy plant, leave it at our crèche and have it delivered back home later at a time of your choice free of charge. With many thanks to Fudges Cycle Store on the High Road for the loan of the cargo bike
The plant crèche and bike delivery is kindly sponsored by Whitman & Co. Whitman & Co is a leading local independent Estate Agent covering residential sales and lettings. Their commercial team is actively involved in the effort to promote Chiswick shopping by attracting new retailers to Chiswick. Whitman & Co have a long track record of supporting local community enterprises and we are delighted to work in partnership with them for this initiative.
There is limited parking and we encourage people to use public transport or cycle. Any plants bought can be left at the creche and delivered to you if you live within 2 miles.
We champion sustainability practices therefore no single use plastic bags should be used unless biodegradable. We encourage all visitors to bring their own bags. Jute bags are available to buy providing a sustainable alternative for visitors who have not brought their own bag.
All visitors are required to wear a mask and use hand gel at the entry point to the market in line with Covid restrictions in place at the time of the event. Please bring a mask with you.
The market takes place rain or shine. There are many welcoming pubs, cafes and restaurants in the area if you fancy a refreshment and a short break to take cover in case of heavy downpours.
All traders accept card payment. Some may accept cash.
